Location:

The studio is located at 122 W 26th St. New York, NY, 10001. Ste. 802.

When you enter, there will be a doorman who may or may not ask you to sign in. From there, go up the elevator to 8. The studio is down the hall on the right. Any clientele that you have coming will also have to sign in with the doorman and enter this way, so please give them this information of how to enter.

Keys and Door:

I will be there to give you the keys. Please keep them on hand throughout your shoot in case you need to leave and come back — locking yourself out will only use up the time you have with the space, so make sure you keep the keys with you at all times.

Once you are finished with your time in the studio, you can leave the keys on the desk. Please be sure you have all your belongings with you before you close the door, as you will not be able to get back in.

To keep the door open when using the bathroom, there is a door stopper to keep the door open. Make sure it is shoved in tightly as the door will automatically close if not. If you are leaving the building premises during the shoot, please take the keys with you and lock the door while you are gone.

Hourly Usage / Load in - Load out:

For load in, make sure you account for the time you will be using the space and the time you will need to leave. For getting in, the start time begins at when you have booked. When leaving, to utilize your time the most in the room, please at least be out of the studio at least 20 minutes after your time is finished.

If you are bringing heavy items like large equipment (think big and heavy stands, large lighting, etc.) you must use the freight elevator. The elevator is only available Mon-Fri from 9am-12pm and 1pm-4:40pm. If you need to use this, please contact me for more details.

Usage of items:

Most items can be found on the floor. If not, what is available to use at the rates above are in the cabinet next to the makeup table, or on the open shelves. There are different size soft boxes in there and on the shelf, and the beauty dish and strip box are above the cabinets. The cabinet next to the door will be locked and not available for use.

****IMPORTANT NOTES ABOUT USAGE OF SEAMLESS PULLEY SYSTEM****

For every usage of seamless, it will be $30 a pull. There are the tension poles with the pulleys available to use - please note that if you are using the pulley system on the tension poles, pulleys are notoriously known for being finicky. When pulling the the backdrop down, please be careful by pulling it down slowly. This will prevent wrinkling of the paper and collapsing more paper than needed. Use mulitple clips to keep the pulley in place, as pictured here.

If you are using the shorter seamless, please use the seamless stands which are next to the shorter seamlesses. You can use the seamless stands if you want with the bigger ones too, if you prefer not to use the pulley system.

The tension poles can be moved around the room wherever you like. Please put them back in their place you found them if you decide to move them.

What can be used without a fee?

Anything listed above without a price point next to it are free to use.

You can also use any diffusers, sheets, fabrics / curtains and clips of your choosing free of charge. Smaller scrims with red, green, or yellow around them are free to use. Small Reflector dishes and the barn doors are available to use.

Anything broken during your time of stay will create an automatic charge and must be compensated to repair or replace.

If you are using the couch in photos, please carefully lift the couch, do not drag on the floor as to avoid breaking the couch or scratching the floors. This is the same for any other furniture items like the eating table, chairs, or the rug. When you are finished with these furniture items, please put them back into their place.

For the TV, use the bigger remote to turn on, and the smaller to use streaming services.

HDMI cord is available to use as it is either plugged in the tv or on the desk.

There is an Alexa Echo that can be used — if you connect your Spotify locally, Julianna’s Studio should pop up. If it does not, use the Bluetooth of the Echo. If it is not working, contact me.

You are free to use the fridge to keep your own food and drink cold. What is found in there already cannot be used.

Clean up:

I will charge a $20 flat-rate cleaning fee to clean the floors and surfaces after you leave. When finishing up, please leave things where you found them. You do not have to reset the room entirely, but enough that the next person or I can go back in easily. If you are using the seamless, please just roll it back up and leave it there. Thank you! Again, please be sure you have all your belongings before closing the door.

Payment:

Payments can be made to me at Zelle for no-fee transactions. I accept Venmo with small fees.

At the end of your session, please send me an email telling me what you used and I will send you the final invoice for it. From there, you can send me through the Zelle or Venmo. Those handles will be provided in your invoice.
